By admin | Mar 30, 2009

Want to cure anxiety attacks? They are quite a stressful and scary experience to have to go through and its made all the more worse if it happens to be chronic and reoccurring. But no matter how desperate things seem, there is hope.

If you need solutions for this problem, there are several things you can consider trying. If you need some quick relief, I’ve got some tips which you will find useful:

1. The Breathing Technique

If you need to cure anxiety attacks, the first thing you should try using is the 7-11 breathing tip. What is it? It’s a very simple tip but don’t let that fool you, it’s quite effective. The 7-11 technique simply involves you changing your breathing patterns, in so doing you can calm yourself back down.

What you’re going to do is inhale for a count of 7 seconds, then exhale for a count of 11. If you can alter your breathing and make it more relaxed, the rest of your body will soon follow. So keep this rhythm up no matter how fast your heart is beating and you will regain your composure.

2. Stay In The Now Moment

Anxiety is usually due to one thinking excessively about the future and what might go wrong. In order to eliminate panic, it is therefore imperative to only think about what is going on in the present.

If you can clear your mind and make a sincere effort to only focus your thoughts on the present, it can go a long way for controlling your mental state.

While these tips will help some, they will not be enough to cure anxiety attacks, in order to do that, you are going to have to really find the root of the problem.

If you’re intent on seeing this through though, you can find some systems that will help you rework your thought patterns and thus alter the way you view things, the way you see the world and thus help you to transcend your old fear based mentality.
